They follow beyond organic and sustainable (regenerative) standards using no chemicals, antibiotics or GMO’s because they believe that happy and healthy animals raised sustainably can heal the planet and keep our family, friends and community happy and healthy. Madden's Seafood is operated by Scott “Jobo” Madden. He grew up in North Raleigh and graduated from Millbrook High School. Then he operated a successful seafood restaurant in Surf City for many years. When he moved back to the Raleigh area, he decided to "bring the freshest seafood to the neighborhood" by getting each week the freshest catch of the day from Surf City and then deliver it back to North Raleigh. His seafood selection changes each week based on season and availability, with most of them being local from North Carolina. His seafood is always so fresh and tasty that he is right when saying "Let us Bring the Beach to You!". Go meet him in front of the Lafayette Village every week, see his website for more details.
Double T Farm located near Garner, NC, is an organically and sustainably run farm, owned and operated by Tom Kumpf and Theresa Ryan. They grow a wide range of vegetables and fruits. Their goal is to teach the community that local, organic produce is a viable alternative to suburban sprawl, leading to healthier people and communities. Their produce are awesome, I signed up for the CSA and don't regret it at all!.
